My Jeep going down some rocks
Join Blue Ridge Jeepers
I always purchased new "U" bolts and hardware on my street driven jeeps. You can get away with reusing them if they don't break when you take them off. Pretty much everything else can be made from spare parts, hardware, and steel.
Will I only need the drop arm from an XJ?
What about the steering? I know I will need new brake lines
Justin, i think i'll just draw a few lines on the CJ and label them as EXO, then you will have your coverage....
not hard to do them. that's one of my future projects....but right now, i think the jeep may be on hold while i build up my AR-15
Always busy brother. If I'm not at work, I'm working on something. I've been trying to free up time to build a cage or exo skeloten on the CJ. It's only a matter of time till it gets away from me and flops over on it's side. Spring overs are easy, a do it your self job. Just buy some perches at tractor supply and put the rears under the springs.
I was really thinking about it, I was told to talk to you about it, since you have done it on a few Jeeps. I did try calling you early to talk about it, but you where busy
Nice! We need to do a spring over on that YJ!
