Well my friend now has to put a roof on his house. That being I guess i'm not selling my 88 wrangler yj. so i'm gonna really look into how much i have to do to get it lifted and running right, and the frame patched up ( rear shackles ). soooo i will make my list and see how much money has to be spent.

and do brake lines, they are pretty important.

ok, so i have 1 fender installed, the entire front lift and have the complete rear end out of the jeep. All i got to do is drop the gas tank, fix the frame, install the new axle and suspension and gas tank, put the other fender on, fix the body rust, mount the brackets for the rear flares, mount the flares, finish the dash, put exhaust on, take the 3" body lift off ( maybe replaced by a 1" body lift ), uhh, and i'm sure a lot more! Too much $ to look back now.

my Metal cloak fenders and flares came today, well technically yesterday. They are so freakin sweet! Just can't wait to put them on. I'm taking over the car port for a jeep build!

i'm already insane for spending how much i have in it. i could have got a nice tj for the amount i have in it, but it wouldn't be near as cool and special to me as this one. Jeeps sure are expensive hobbys! lol

At some point you will have to ask yourself is my jeep a (and most of us all agree) Money pit or Investment???? That's just a silly question we all know the answer! It's my hobby right???

just ordered my lift kit and frame sections. waiting for those to come in the mail and friday i'm going to place the order for my Metal Cloak tube fenders, flares and rear tube flare things. alot of money is going to be involved in this but it should be all but bullet proof.

the jeep it runs!!! hot wired it yesterday to see if it would crank and had everything hooked up so i pumped the gas a few times and it fired right up! still need to put it precisly into time and adjust idle a little bit. now to finish the dash and get the switches in place so i can turn it on an off inside the jeep! and then gauges and other stuff, soo much work to do.
