Event Description

Neal and April will be leading a group for green/blue trails and you're invited to hop in the mix.  This would be considered a wheeling 102 event with some basic offroad discussion before hitting the trails (ie: airing down, disconnecting sway bars).

Note:  If you wish to run more difficult trails, you may do so as long as you having a wheeling partner. You may still travel with our BRJ convoy to and from the park. We may even have a group lunch to share some wheeling stories.

Please be sure to thoroughly review RC's website for park rules, entry fees, and tips on how to make your day more enjoyable.

Additional Details:

>Make certain you have a FULL tank of gas (we'll be stopping closer to the park (exit 77) to top-off and use modern restrooms).
> Make certain your rig is serviced and ready for interstate highway travel
> A full size spare and jack are required as well as front and rear recovery points
> A CB radio will benefit you on the highway and trail (ch25, alt ch26)
> Pack a cooler with enough food and drink to get you through the duration of your stay. RC does NOT sell food or beverage.
> All trash must be packed out of the park.
> Alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited during wheeling hours (responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted at campsite when trails are closed).
> This is a family friendly event. Be aware that children may be present. Parents, you are responsible for the safety of your children.
> Event is rain or shine

> When you arrive at RC, please register at the office and get your rig ready to wheel ASAP.  We'll have a driver's meeting before we hit the trails.

Please click the RSVP button if you plan to attend. If you've never been to Rausch Creek before, we HIGHLY encourage your attendance. Responsible wheelers are ALWAYS welcomed to attend BRJ Events. As far as east coast wheeling goes, it doesn't get any better than this!

Added bigger tires which are rubbing pretty good when turning. Dont want to flex and tear the flares off. Lol

Really disapointed, I wont be able to go this time. My lift install was delayed. I hope you do another one of these in the future.

It looks like we should have a nice big group next weekend I just want to remind everyone of a few things.

1 Please be prompt to meeting locations,

2 Go to Rausch creeks website and have all forms filled out if needed,

3 Lunch will be on the trail so be sure to pack enough for everyone in your vehicle.

I will be posting my cell # mid week encase anybody needs it. Mean while please feel free to ask any questions here.

Doug you should be good. Check out the Comfort inn in Pine grove, that's the normal resting spot for Rausch. It's our goal to be at Rausch between 830 - 900 on that Sunday.

Hi Neal and April - Buzz Vogel suggested that this green-trail event would be a good one for me to get 'my feet wet' in off-roading, so I plan to give it a try. I have a 2012 Rubicon Unlimited (AT tires) so I think I have an adequate vehicle for this event, right?

I hope to follow the lead of the 'experts' and acquire some basic skills.

I'll be looking for lodging in the Rausch Creek area so I can be fresh in the morning.
