If you're new to offroading or new to Jeeps in general, this is an outstanding opportunity to learn the basics while visiting the eastern region's premiere offroad park, Rausch Creek Offroad Park located in Tremont, Pennsylvania. Special thanks going out to trail guide, Matthew Walker, for organizing this event to help new wheelers learn more about their Jeeps and how travel safely while hitting the trails.
There are no additional fees for this class, however, you will need to purchase a RC membership and pay for your day of wheeling at the park. More information about these fees, park rules, and equipment requirements may be found by visiting rc4x4.org
Matt will be conducting a basic offroad class first thing in the morning, and will then be guiding a ride through the green trail system (difficulty beginner). He will also be stopping on the trail at a blue loop (intermediate) for anyone who would like to see or experience the next level of difficulty. You are NOT required to drive a blue loop.
Please pack a lunch and plenty of drinks for the day as these items are not available at the park. There are porta pots in the RC parking area, and plenty of trees on the trail when nature calls.
Departure time (please be prompt): 6:45am
